Mini Sessions are great for children, couples, or individuals!   These can be posed or lifestyle, depending on your personal taste and personality.  Some examples of a mini session are:  1st Birthday Cake Smash, Besties, Happy Anniversary, Adult Birthday, Mommy/Daddy and Me, etc.  Shutterbug offer stylized (little ladies, superheros, back to school, fall) Mini Sessions during the year also.

• Mini Sessions cannot be used for families or newborns.
• Disks/Downloads available for purchase.
• Mini Sessions are available at select locations in the Raleigh area only – contact me for a list.

Full Sessions are perfect for updating your photo’s throughout the year.  They are great for families (additional people over 5 are $25/person), engagements, birthday’s or maternity sessions.  Full sessions offer a chance to capture memories with each other, as well as showcasing individual personalities.

 Newborn Sessions will allow you to have images from those precious new days with your little one.  I will come to your home and set up a mini studio using natural lighting, backdrops and wraps/props.  These sessions will generally take approximately 2-3 hours, but sometimes longer depending on the sleepiness of your baby.

• **Option to include family members (Mother, Father or Siblings) for $100.
• Lifestyle Sessions are an option if you prefer to use your own home as the backdrop, and capture your newborn in their new environment.  I will gladly use your own furniture (nursery or master bedrooms are usually great!), as well as personal props to create a one of a kind experience for your family.

Baby Plan – $425

The baby’s first year package includes 3 sessions during your baby’s first year, with complimentary Digital Images from all 3 sessions.

• One full newborn session
• Two mini sessions (6 and 12 months)
• Option to add a Maternity Session for $100
• Optional custom birth announcements including a Facebook timeline photo (price varies by collection)
• Optional collage print from each session (price varies per size)

Fine Print

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.
• Digital Images/CD come with a limited-use print agreement.
• Professional quality prints are available for an additional purchase via your online gallery, and are fulfilled by Mpix.
• Online galleries are available for one month for ordering and sharing.   There will be a $50 charge to reload your gallery once the month has passed.

Back To School Stylized Mini Session {Apex, NC}

We did a Mini Session to celebrate Back To School.  The kids had a great time (even had a few snackers chomping on the apples) and we got some wonderful photos of them in their back to school outfits.  A win-win all around!

Rompers and Pearls Mini Session {Portrait Party, Cary, NC}

I recently did a Mini Session with some super cute girls.  I saw an idea similar to this on pinterest, and just knew I wanted to get a photo of Sadie and her friends wearing lace and pearls.

The best part of this session was how well the girls cooperated and “worked it”.  They each had their own ideas, and needed minimal direction from me or their mamas.  As soon as we got them all dolled up, they went to work – all of them were little models!

So happy that we get to do another one like this next week!

Dawson Family Maternity Session {JC Raulston Arboretum, Raleigh NC}

Lots of maternity sessions lately, and that means lots of newborn sessions to come soon!

As I was editing this newborn’s session this week,  I realized that I had not yet shared their maternity session.  Better late than never, right?  Be on the lookout in the near future for a blog post on Princess Paige.

We also got some photos of  big brother, Lance, who will be turning 3 soon.  To say he is excited about his baby sister is an understatement!

I learned something during this session.  Little boys are suckers for FART noises and anything having to do with POOP.  Keep that in mind for future sessions.  Gets them every time!

A-Z Engagement Session {Yates Mill Park, Raleigh NC}

Ah, Yates Mill.  This is one of my absolute favorite places to take photos.  And it was even better with this session because we got to get out on the rocks (shh!, don’t tell!)

I was fortunate enough to photograph this gorgeous couple at the beginning of July.  Ladies, if you like a man in uniform, make sure you scroll through all of the photos – you won’t be disappointed!

Amanda and Zach (A-Z, as the bride to be pointed out!)  did a fabulous job, and let me try out a bunch of poses with them, even though it was about 100* with 100% humidity that day.   There’s even some swoon-worthy photos in here.  Sometimes I think that second right before a kiss is almost more romantic than the kiss itself – there’s something to be said for a bit of anticipation, dontcha think?

Max Family Session {Anderson Point Park, Raleigh NC}

Check out this brother-sister duo….  how cute are they?  We’ve been holding off on their session until Brayden was sitting well on his own, but this guy is really holding his own now and is super smiley.   Big sister Talia has these soft expressions that I just love.  And curls to die for!

Family Maternity Session {Historic Oak View Park, Raleigh NC}

I was so happy when I found this awesome spot for photo sessions, thanks to some info from my brother and a friend.  Historic Oak View Park is an old pecan plantation that is now maintained by Wake County, and only about 10 minutes from my home.  There are extensive grounds, beautiful white fences, the old plantation house, and multiple barns and outbuildings that offer for fabulous scenes.

Christine and her family met me there one Sunday evening, in the last few hours before sunset, and the lighting could not have been better.  Miss Hailey is going to be a great big sister, and I think a future model.  This kid really turned it on when the camera was facing her.  She could be acting crazy silly one minute, then lock it down and pose like a champ!  Amazing for a 5 year old!  A big thanks to mommy for the mommy/daughter idea of showing bellies.  So, so cute!!
